Sharp, aggressive campaigns in Telangana

Campaigning for seventh phase of elections came to an end on Monday. Elections to 89 parliamentary constituencies spread in seven states and two Union Territories will be held on Wednesday. A court in Nizamabad in the Telangana region has ordered cases to be booked against actor Pawan Kalyan for threatening to skin alive TRS chief KCR if he criticised Narendra Modi. Till campaigning came to an end, the pitch of exchanges between political rivals was only growing more sharp, aggressive and ugly. Elections to 17 Lok Sabha and 119 assembly seats will happen in Telangana on Wednesday.
