Should dress codes be banned?

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa says she will enact a law against clubs that ban ‘dhotis’, after the row over a high court judge who was denied entry into a club. Should dress codes be banned altogether or do private establishments have the right to enforce one? We debate on Left, Right and Centre.
