Sterilisation deaths: The needle of suspicion

Its a tragedy of unimaginable proportions. The deaths of 13 women after being operated on at a sterilization camp, points to the fact that something happened to them medically. The symptoms of the over 100 hospitalized women are not pointing to a single specific cause. Was it due to the ‘jugaad’ approach at sterilisation camps? Or were contaminated drugs responsible? The needle of suspicion is constantly shifting. And nothing is what it seems. Sutapa Deb reports.
