Supreme Court wants politicians’ cases decided within a year

Tonight on Left, Right & Centre :The Supreme Court today set a deadline of one year for lower courts to complete trial in all criminal cases involving lawmakers. Will the move ensure that MPs and MLAs charged with serious offences can no longer avoid conviction indefinitely and help clean up politics?
