‘Terrorists tried to attack Indian democracy,’ says PM Modi

Army Chief General Dalbir Singh Suhag today paid tribute to the martyrs who were killed yesterday in a series of terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir in a ceremony in Srinagar. 13 people – a civilian, nine soldiers and three policemen – were killed, marking the heaviest losses for security forces in the state in over six years.
