Upper caste people are foreigners, says Bihar Chief Minister

This once, a controversial Jitan Ram Manjhi comment has attracted a serious allegation. The opposition BJP has accused the Bihar chief minister of “stoking caste tension” in the state with his remark that “upper caste people are foreigners.” Mr Manjhi, who has made an assortment of controversial public statements with alarming regularity since he took over as chief minister in May, was speaking at a function in Bettiah when he delivered his new controversy.
