Why would Sachin Tendulkar make up a story? Sunil Gavaskar to NDTV

Former India captain Sunil Gavaskar said Sachin Tendulkar was not the kind of person to make up stories. The Master Blaster, in his autobiography ‘Playing It My Way’ revealed former India coach Greg Chappell had tried to remove Rahul Dravid as captain, months before the 2007 World Cup. Chappell denied this and said Tendulkar’s claims were untrue. However, Gavaskar said there was no reason to not believe Tendulkar as everyone knew about his honesty and integrity.
