Will Change Perception That BJP is Communal, says Amit Shah to NDTV

BJP leader and Narendra Modi’s close aide Amit Shah, in charge of the party’s campaign in Uttar Pradesh, spoke to NDTV about the accusations against the BJP for being communal, and why the Gujarat government after the 2002 riots has not bothered reaching out to the Muslim community and appointing Muslim leaders in the cabinet. Mr Shah said the communal tag would change once they came to power.
