With heated debate raging in the Lok Sabha over the conversion of Muslims in Agra to Hinduism, the government offered to pass a law against such ‘mass conversions’. On News Point, we discuss the allegations and counter-allegations by various parties against one another about encouraging mass conversions into one religion or the other in various parts of the country. We also ask whether there can be a law that can be foolproof enough to prosecute such conversions under the pretext of ‘voluntary’ conversions. (Audio in Hindi)
