Vote Ka Dum: Absence of basic amenities in Indian cities
On Vote Ka Dum today, the youth from Delhi discuss about the poor infrastructure and lack of planning in Indian cities. Shailaja Chandra, retired IAS officer says that people want basic amenities such as water, sewage, electricity and roads more than just beautiful buildings. She adds that governments are only focused on vote-bank politics and do not make plans for tackling migrations from rural to urban areas. (Audio in Hindi)
