Trivia

According to the legends from the Hindu mythology, the creation of Goa dates back to the Mahabharata. Lord Parshuram, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu is credited with the creation of Goa. It was then known by its Sanskrit name, "Gomantak" or the "Land of the Gods".
