Is Iron Mike making a come back?

London, Mar 11 (ANI): Former world heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson is reportedly in talks with promoter Don King about returning to the ring after he left boxing five years ago.

Tyson has not boxed since losing to Kevin McBride in June 2005, as he was stopped in the sixth round in Washington and later decided to call time on his career with a record of 50 wins in 58 fights.

King has ruled out a third clash with Evander Holyfield, but has not dismissed the possibility of Tyson pulling on his gloves once more, The Sun reports.

Speaking to espn.com, King said: "I ain't ready to comment on Tyson returning. But read between the lines. It really is something isn't it, all the interest there is in him?"

At the age of 43, Tyson is far from fighting fit. But King is right to claim boxing fans are still intrigued by the controversial star.

Speaking back in November, King said: "I think Mike's one of the greatest fighters that ever lived."

"I think he can still be a fighter if he wants to be a fighter. He needs a lot of vitamins. He needs a lot of tender loving care, dedication and discipline.

"But whatever we have to do, we'll do. If you can't hear me, I'll say it a little louder," King added.

Only time will tell if the youngest-ever heavyweight champion does pick  up his gloves for one final match. (ANI)
