Only one in three NYC adults `use condoms during sex`
New York – Only about one in three New York City adults used a condom the last time they had sex, a new poll has revealed.
The survey conducted by a city Health Department has found that despite the city spending millions of dollars buying, marketing and distributing free condoms to promote safe sex, two-thirds of adults said they didn’t use a condom the last time they were in the sack, the New York Post reported.
It was found that around 771,000 New Yorkers had two or more sexual partners last year, out of which 457,000 boasted having three or more partners.
About 78 percent of adults ages 45 to 64 and 89 percent of senior citizens do not use condoms.
