London – British long-distance runner Mo Farah is one of the three finalists for the men’s World Athlete of the Year.

According to The Daily Express, Farah, 5,000m and 10,000m winner at the World Championships, is up against Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt and Ukrainian high jumper Bohdan Bondarenko.

Farah is also a double gold Olympic , the report said.

He achieved a rare double-double this year by backing the Olympic wins up with two wins at the World Championships.
