London – Google Doodle is celebrates the 120th birthday of the Raymond Loewy, the man who designed the Cola bottle.

Loewy, also known as the ‘father of industrial design’, was also responsible for the Lucky Strike cigarette packet and came up with the logos for Exxon and Shell.

The doodle sees the shroud design for K4s Pacific #3768 redrawn to form the word Google using the wheels of the train, express.co.uk reports.

Over his fifty-year career, he also worked on designs for refrigerators, cars, vending machines and spacecraft.

One of his main clients was the Pennsylvania Railroad, for whom he designed passenger locomotives.

Loewy was born in Paris on November 5, 1893 and set up an office in London office in the 30s that is still going today.

Loewy died in 1986 at the age of 92.
