Tejpal case: Three witnesses depose in Goa court
Goa Police to file charge sheet against Tehelka founder editor Tarun Tejpal
Panaji – Three witnesses in the Tarun Tejpal sexual assault case Friday recorded their respective statements in a Goa court before a judicial magistrate, officials said.
Ishan Tankha, G. Vishnu and Shougat Dasgupta — all employees of the Tehelka weekly news magazine who have resigned since the incident — were the people in whom the victim confided soon after she was sexually assaulted by ! Tejpal in an elevator of a five-star hotel in Goa.
Police also expect this weekend to record the statement of Shoma Chaudhury, managing editor of the weekly, who has since resigned.
