Nelson Mandela’s daughter saw him losing grip on life

London – Former South African President Nelson Mandela’s eldest daughter has said that the doctors already knew his father would die on Thursday night and she saw him losing grip on life.

Makaziwe Mandela-Amuah had realised that her father was entering his final hours as the family gathered at his deathbed , Metro.co.uk reports.

She said she felt sad as he watched her father dying in front of her eyes.

The 59-year old hailed the former South African president as ‘a medical wonder’ for the way he clung to life during a final year of illness and pain.
