New Delhi – Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who until recently often led street protests, Saturday met Delhi Police Commissioner B.S. Bassi soon after assuming office.

Kejriwal provided no details of the meeting but Bassi said the two men “exchanged our respective visions”.

“We both have the same goals,” added Bassi.

Although Kejriwal is the chief minister, the Delhi Police does not report to him. It is controlled by the union home ministry.
