At least 13 die as train collides with jeep at railway crossing in Uttar Pradesh

Maharajganj : At least 13 people were killed on Friday after a train collided with a jeep at the railway crossing in Maharajganj district of Uttar Pradesh. The accident took place at around 12.30 am when the Gorakhpur-Narkatiaganj passenger train hit the jeep. Three injured people have been admitted to a nearby hospital. The jeep got stuck to a rail engine and was dragged for 500 metres. Policemen and other officials arrived at the site and are carrying out investigations.
