Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has taken a jibe at United States presidential candidate Bobby Jindal after the later claimed that non-aligned nations like India are ‘desperate’ for American leadership.

Omar took to twitter to share his contempt for Jindal’s remarks.

“Holding true to the adage that some people will say just about anything to get themselves elected!” he posted.

Earlier, Jindal had sharply criticised the incumbent Barack Obama’s foreign policy, claiming that as a presidential aspirant, he seeks to take the US to the mantle of global leadership.
