Murdoch and Ambani in football field, will start ISL

New delhi – Football on the lines of cricket ‘s Indian Premier League Super League is preparing to launch . Rupert Murdoch and his sports management firm IMG Mukesh Ambani’s joint venture company together with his invited bids for the city -based football league . The league will be played between India this year from September to November . Celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham have also shown interest .

Bids nine cities – Delhi , Bangalore, Chennai , Goa , Guwahati , Kochi , Kolkata , Mumbai and Pune have been floated . 8 teams will be selected for these tournaments . Every team bidding for contracts for 10 years starting from the base price of Rs 120 crore . The tournament was scheduled to begin in January , but now the plan is to start from September .

Khan has publicly stated that he would like to buy a team in IPL-like soccer tournament . However, he also said a person close to John Abraham are interested in it . Former Indian cricket team captain is being reported that Sourav Ganguly would like to buy a team .
