Ratan Tata visits Jayem Automotives

“It is exciting times for us,” says J. Anand, Managing Director of Jayem Automotives. Ratan Tata, Chairman Emeritus of Tata Group, and Cyrus P. Mistry, Tata Group Chairman, visited the company here on Monday. “They have visited us almost four times during the last two years,” Mr. Anand says. “Apart from visiting the unit, they also spent some time at the Kari Motor Speedway here as we had to do some tests.”

Jayem is an automobile design and development company that is working with Tata Motors for the last 10 years. “We are like an extended arm of Tata Motors and work with them in a lot of areas in passenger car and commercial vehicle segments,” he said.

Tata Motors is working on a lot of products and “you will soon know on what we are working with them now,” he said.
