Not worried about FIR ,”I haven’t done any wrong” in coal scam, says KM Birla

Industrialist Kumar Mangalam Birla on Friday said that the FIR against him in the coal scam doesn’t worry him.

Talking to a news channel, KM Birla stated that he met Finance Minister P Chidambaram and had discussed various issues.

“I don’t think CBI FIR in Coalgate will impact banking licence,” KM Birla said.

“I haven’t done any wrong,” he said.

India Inc on Wednesday rallied behind industrialist Kumar Mangalam Birla saying such a step will dent its confidence.

“Kumar Mangalam Birla is a very reputed industrialist and comes from an iconic family. The industry stands by him. This is not a very good thing for the confidence of the industry,” President of PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry Suman Jyoti Khaitan said.
