Cold war between Deepika Padukone and Kareena Kapoor?

After delivering three back-to-back blockbuster hits last year, Deepika Padukone is on a high. She is currently the reigning queen of box-office and has become the favourite choice of all directors, thus giving a tough competition to other leading actresses. And it seems one actress who is suffering due to rising popularity of Deepika is Kareena Kapoor Khan. The pretty actress has already lost some plum projects to Deepika and hence all is not well between the two actresses.

A media report says that after losing Chennai Express, Ram-Leela and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani to Deepika, Kareena is in no mood to lose out another big project to her. This time the bone of contention is Madhur Bhandarkar’s upcoming flick. Sources reveal that the director is confused about making the choice between the two actresses and hence has spoken to both of them about the film before making a final decision.

Though both Deepika and Kareena have their kitties full with movies, both of them are doing their best to not let go of this movie. Deepika’s upcoming movies include Happy New Year, Finding Fanny and Piku. Kareena’s next are Gabbar and Singham 2.
