`Devastated` Katy Perry gave up booze after split from Russell Brand

Washington – Katy Perry has revealed that she lived a booze-free life for three months as part of her healing process following her split from husband Russell Brand.

In an interview with Alan Carr, the 29-year-old singer said that she did a lot of different things after the split, like surrounding herself with good friends to get over the divorce, Us magazine reported.

According to a UK website, the ‘Roar’ hitmaker also claimed that she took vitamins and supplements, and went for hikes, meditation and prayer to help her move on.
