Divorce from Andre left Katie Price shattered

London – Model Katie Price says that she was left emotionally destroyed when her marriage with singer Peter Andre ended.

They called it quits after four years of marriage in 2009. The duo has two children – Junior, eight and Princess Tiaamii, six.

Price, currently married to her third husband Kieran Hayler, says it took her a lot of time to get over the split with Andre.

“The only issue I’ve had was when me and Pete split. That’s the only time I’ve cared … It’s taken ages (to get over it) because emotionally I was destroyed,” Now magazine quoted Price as saying.

“Looking back, I don’t know how I survived. I was slaughtered. Before that it was all a bit tongue-in-cheek and ‘whatever’,” she added.

After Andre, Price married cage fighter Alex Reid. Their 11-month-long marriage ended in 2011.
