Lostprophets singer Ian Watkins pleads guilty to child sex offence charges

London – Lostprophets lead singer Ian Watkins has pleaded guilty to various charges of child sex offences including attempted rape of a baby.

The 36-year-old singer pleaded guilty to attempted rape and sexual assault of a child under 13 but didn’t plead guilty to rape, the BBC reported.

The singer has also admitted to three counts of sexual assault involving children and six involving taking, making or possessing indecent images of children.

Watkins also pleaded guilty of one count of possessing an extreme pornographic image involving a sex act on an animal.
