No time for social media: Karl Lagerfeld

London – German fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld has four iPhones, but he says he’s neither a fan of gadgets nor social networking.

“The world is distorted by these (iPhones). I have no time for it (social media). The day is too short. I am not interested in looking for unknown friends. I know enough people already,” Lagerfeld told InStyle magazine, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

“I don’t even go in the street anymore. Even in the middle of the night, there’s somebody (outside my house). The people who come up to me are all very nice but at! the same time it’s a bore,” he added.

While the designer himsel! f isn’t a fan of Twitter, his Siamese cat Choupette has more than 33,000 followers on the website.
