Veena Malik’s reception to be private affair

Dubai – Pakistani actress Veena Malik, who has married businessman Asad Bashir Khan Khattak, will host a reception here Thursday evening for close friends and family members.

“Like her wedding, even her reception will be a private affair for her close friends and relatives. It will take place today evening in Dubai,” a source close to the actress said Thursday.

Veena, who became a known name in India post her stint on the fourth season of reality show “Bigg Boss”, entered wedlock Wednesday. She even took to Twitter to share a photograph showing her and her husband’s wedding band.

Veena married Asad Bashir, who runs businesses in Dubai and the US, in the Emirates Court here on Christmas day. They have been family friends.

According to the source, the newly-wed couple is also likely soon to go to perform Umrah, a pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
