Washington – Zoe Saldana has confessed that she kept her wedding a secret for over 6 months to protect her private life.
The 35-year-old actress told Ocean Drive Magazine that she loves what she does but loves her personal life more.
She realized through the years of being in the business that the only way to maintain sanity is to protect that which is most dear to her, which is her life and everyone who is in it.
Saldana had married Italian artist Marco Perego in June but only announced their wedding six months later.
