Jesus received fair trial, claims scholar

Melbourne – A scholar has claimed that Jesus’ trial and execution was perfectly legal.

Jose Maria Ribas Alba, Professor in Roman Law at Seville University in Spain, has spent 25 years examining Jesus’ trial’s details and comparing it to other legal proceedings from that time, the Daily Telegraph reported.

Ribas Alba said rather than being a farce or purely for show, the trial of Jesus was perfectly legal based on what is known about the legal criteria of the time.
