Sri Lankan couple set new world record with 126 bridesmaids at wedding

London – A Sri Lankan couple has broken a Guinness world record by having 126 bridesmaids at their wedding.

The newly married couple, Nisansala and Nalin, beat the previous best of 96 bridesmaids at one wedding, Metro.co.uk reported.

Sri Lankan bridal designer Champi Siriwardana, who came up with the record-breaking idea, said that bringing the act together is a great responsibility and challenge.
