65-yr-old man arrested for sexually assaulting minor girl in Tamil Nadu
A 65-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a five-year-old girl at Veerappanchatram village in the district, police said.
The minor’s parents had gone out when the man allegedly took the girl to his house yesterday and sexually assaulted her.
The parents returned a short while later to find heir daughter missing. The father then went next door to the old man’s house, and raised an alarm after finding the man allegedly assaulting his daughter, police said.
The old man fled the spot, but was arrested late last night.
