Baba Ramdev, LK Advani likely to get Padma award
NEW DELHI: The Narendra Modi government is soon going to announce the list of this year’s Padma awardees.
According to speculations, this year’s list may include the names of yoga guru Ramdev and BJP leader LK Advani.
Among other recipients, the list is likely to have the name of veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan.
Additionally, Salim Khan and actor Dilip Kumar are also likely to be given Padma award.
The Padma awards will be given during the Republic Day celebrations on January 26.
For the first time, this year’s Republic Day will have a US president as its chief guest. President Barack Obama is expected to arrive in New Delhi on Saturday.
