BJP President Amit Shah will soon appoint new general secretaries, say sources

New Delhi: BJP President Amit Shah will soon appoint new general secretaries, said sources on Friday. There are over five vacancies which need to be filled as a number of general secretaries have taken up responsibilities as ministers in the Narendra Modi government.

BJP sources these appointments are important as the party’s national executive will be held soon.

Delhi Assembly elections, too, are likely to be held in a few weeks and Shah is keen to have a new team in place before that.
