New Delhi – The AAP government in Delhi, which has completed a month in office, discussed its ambitious Jan Lokpal Bill in the Cabinet meeting on Tuesday. The meeting chaired by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal discussed the bill.

Since the formatted draft from the Law Department has not yet come to the Cabinet, the meeting decided to wait for the draft till Friday. It also discussed the issue of regularising the services of casual employees.

“The government wants them to be made permanent, but there is a process which can’t be bypassed. A committee has been formed. They will work in time bound manner. No employee will be removed till then,” said Education Minister Manish Sisodia.

The Cabinet has also decided to use the home guards and civil defence personnel for the special force for the women. The Delhi Integrated Mass Transport System(DIMS) was also discussed.
