Villagers kill panther that attacked two youth in Rajasthan

Villagers in Rajasthan killed a panther that entered the village and attacked two youth. The panther which ventured into a village of Ajmer city was chased down and beaten to death by the angry villagers.

In charge of the police station near the village, Prakash Singh said he received a call around 8 a.m. (0230 GMT) from village headman that a panther had entered the village and was being chased by the villagers.

The brother of one of the injured boys, Vijay Jhangid said his brother was attacked by the panther in the field. Both the victims have been admitted to a nearby hospital and are undergoing treatment.
