Actress Khushboo likely to join Congress today

Chennai: Famous actress Khushboo is likely to join the Congress on Wednesday. She is in New Delhi and is expected to meet Congress President Sonia Gandhi and party Vice President Rahul Gandhi at 5 pm.

Tamil Nadu Congress Committee President EVKS Elangovan is also present in New Delhi. A formal announcement over her induction into the party is expected after the meeting. Kushboo had quit the DMK after the Lok Sabha elections 2014 following differences with party treasurer MK Stalin.

However, there is no official confirmation about her joining the Congress.
