Uttarakhand CM Harish Rawat assures safety to Char Dham yatris

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat on Monday said that each person taking up the Char Dham yatra is the responsibility of the state government.

“Each person that comes here is our responsibility and we are here to keep them safe,” Rawat told the media here.

The yatra to Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri, Yamunotri, and Hemkund Sahib has been hindered even as the restoration of roads and bridges leading to the shrines has been underway.
