Akshar Patel eager to make mark against West Indies in remaining ODIs

Akshar Patel who was selected in the Indian squad for the last ODIs and one T20I against West Indies has said that these matches will be important for him.

“I wouldn’t be lying if I say that I don’t understand the situation I am in. If I get an opportunity to play these three matches will be very important for me and I will try to do better than I have done so far, “said Patel in an interview with Times of India.

“Playing the World Cup is every cricketer’s dream, If I can make it that far , it will be an dream come true. But I am seriously not thinking too much about it at the moment. My focus right now is the two ODIs and the T20 against West Indies, “he added.

He made his ODI debut against Bangladesh in Dhaka.
