Tendulkar says `partnership` with wife Anjali `best of life`

Mumbai – Indian cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar has said in his emotional farewell speech that meeting wife Anjali was the best thing to have happened to him.

He said that although there was a big career in front of her wife being a doctor, she decided that he continues playing and she took care of the children.

Tendulkar added that it was great of his in-laws to have allowed him to marry Anjali.

He further said that son Arjun and daughter Sara were the two precious diamonds of his life.

Tendulkar also thanked his friends for being with him while he was injured or stressed.
