London – Red Bull driver Sebastian Vettel has made history by winning eight Grand Prix races in a row with his recent win in the United States Grand Prix.

According to the Mirror, the world champion became the first man in the sport’s 63-year history to win eight races in a row.

The German has triumphed at every race weekend since the Belgian Grand Prix in late August, the report said.

Four of the last seven have been led from start to finish and five have started on pole, the report added.

He beats a record of seven in a row set by Alberto Ascari in the 1950s and Michael Schumacher in 2004, according to the report.
