Spa Secrets

We have brought you some to spa secrets for great looking face, hand and body treatments from spa experts that you can easily try at home too:
For Face:

  • Make Grapefruit mask by blending 3 tablespoons of very fine oatmeal, 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley and juice of grapefruit to form a soft paste. Let it sit for five minutes and then apply it on your face. When it is dry, rinse with warm water and tone and moisturize the skin.
  • Prepare rose and lavender water by boiling dried petals in a covered bowl. Let it cool and strain it in bottles. Store it in a refrigerator and you can use it with all the facemasks or simply use it as a natural face wash.
  • Soak finely chopped almonds in water and let it sit for an hour. Strain the water and use the residue as a good scrub. The water is good for rejuvenating eyes and removing dark circles.

For Hands:

  • A mixture of mashed fresh avocado, egg yolk, honey, rice bran and few drops of evening primrose oil massaged on to hands and feet and left for 20 minutes is great to rejuvenate dry and wrinkled skin. Avocado and egg are good for skin nourishment; rice bran for exfoliation while evening primrose oil keeps hair, skin andnails healthy.

For Body:

  • For dry skin, prepare soothing and invigorating ginger skin cream. Mix fresh ginger juice, light sesame oil, apricot kernel oil, vitamin E oil and cocoa butter and heat it until the cocoa butter melts and oils blend.
  • Prepare moisturizing body scrub at home by mixing together liquid glycerin, water, sugar, solid coconut butter and few drops of your favorite essential oil. Blend glycerin, water and sugar to form a soft paste and mix the melted coconut oil to the mixture along with essential oils. Let it cool and then you can use if after bath.
