Evening primrose is another great source of organic oil. The seeds of the herb evening Primrose are used to extract oil, which is widely used in the making of medicines and cosmetics. The oil is quite thin in consistency and leaves behind a slightly oily feel. It is usually yellowish in color. It is indeed a bit expensive, but is extremely beneficial in treating skin disorders such as Eczema. It has a very light and a bit sweet fragrance, which is mostly liked by people. Though, it can be used independently, nevertheless, by and large, it is used in combination with other carrier oils.

Evening primrose carrier oil contains adequate quantities of polysaturated omega-6 fatty acids ,essential fatty acids (EFAs), which are very vital for the smooth functioning of the body. It also has a reasonable amount of linoleic acid and gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) and thus enables the body to combat cancer and heart disease.
