By Air
The closest airport is at Udaipur, at a distance of 185 kms. Plenty of taxis, buses are available from the
airport at Udaipur Maharana Pratap Airport to Mount Abu.
By Train
The nearest railhead is at Abu Road at a distance of 27 kms from Mount Abu. It falls on a broad gauge line
between Delhi and Mumbai and is a designated station for many Express trains. The journey from Abu Road to
Mount Abu takes about an hour. A taxi/car ride from Abu Road to Mount Abu would cost Rs. 300 (Rs. 250 in the
off-season). A fast train from Ahemdabad takes four hours to reach Abu Road.
By Road
Mount Abu is well connected to other important cities in India by an elaborate road network. It is close to
National Highway 8 and 14. Regular buses connect Mount Abu to other cities in Rajasthan. Daily Express and
Deluxe buses ply between Mount Abu and Jaipur, Udaipur, Jaisalmer, Ajmer and Delhi to name a few.
